Meet the Strategic Partner Who Actually Gets It

Heather Daniels: Vermont IT consultant with a people-first approach that works anywhere

Every business hits that point where the tools don’t fit, the growth feels unsustainable, and the path forward gets cloudy. AdaZai Consulting was created for that moment—the one where you want to keep building, but you need clarity, better systems, and a partner you can trust to help you move forward without burning out.

For over 20 years, I worked in IT and business strategy—often as the only woman in the room. I climbed the corporate ladder, earned the titles, and led big initiatives. But success didn’t feel like success when it meant sacrificing my values or well-being. So I stepped away from the noise and built something different: AdaZai Consulting.

Real strategy. Real systems.
Built by someone who’s been where you are.

Ada-What?

AdaZai isn’t just a business—it’s personal. The name is a mashup of my kids’ names, Adalyn and Zaidyn. It’s a reminder that every system I design, every strategy I create, should support the humans behind the business. That includes you.

I work with leaders who want their business to run smarter—without losing its soul. The ones who are tired of clunky tech stacks and workarounds. Who are  ready to make confident, sustainable decisions that actually support their goals (and their teams).

In AdaZai you get my rare mix of operational insight and deep technical experience. But more than that, I bring empathy, integrity, and an unshakeable belief that strategy should feel empowering, not overwhelming.

I’ve built entire business architecture divisions, launched process improvements that shaved hours off people’s work days, and led digital transformations that gave companies room to scale. And through it all, I’ve stayed grounded in what matters: honesty, kindness, balance, and doing right by people.

What does that mean for you?

It means your challenges get taken seriously. Your goals get translated into clear next steps. And your people get systems they’ll actually want to use.

I don’t do bloated frameworks or cookie-cutter solutions. I listen deeply, think critically, and design pathways that help you grow without spinning your wheels.

Clients often tell me I make complex problems feel manageable—and that working with me feels calm, clear, and collaborative. That’s truly the highest compliment I can get!

Heather’s the kind of consultant who actually listens—and then delivers something ten times better than you expected.

Outside the office? I’m curious, intentional, and playful!

You might find me hiking Vermont’s backroads, reading science fiction, or hosting game nights with my family (who take their board games very seriously). I love a good spreadsheet, a great cup of coffee, and any excuse to kick off my shoes and walk in the surf. I believe in lifelong learning, creating space for quiet thinking, and always leaving something better than I found it—whether it’s a process, a team, or a trail.

For a strategic partner who’ll help you untangle the tech, connect the dots, and build real momentum—without compromising your values—I’m just a message away!
